Police hunt for vehicles after ram-raid on Langholm store

Police are investigating a ram-raid on the co-op store in Langholm.

A 4x4 type vehicle is thought to have been used to break through the store doors.

Officers were called following a number of loud bangs and screeching car tyres in the area on Glenesk Road. There was extensive damage to the premises, including an attempt to remove the ATM cash machine.

Police are appealing to anyone in the area with private CCTV, or a dashcam in their vehicle, to review it and look for any evidence of suspicious vehicles in the area.
