Leeds United sign Liam McCarron from Carlisle United

Leeds United have announced the signing of Liam McCarron on a permanent transfer from Carlisle United.

The midfielder joins the Yorkshire outfit for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-year contract with the club.

McCarron leaves Carlisle having come through their youth ranks. He signed his first professional contract with the Blues last September.

He made a combined 20 appearances in all competitions for the Cumbrians, starting four of them.
