Former Langholm Police station to be turned into flats
Former Police station in Langholm is being transformed into flats, after the Scottish Government awarded the Eskdale Foundation a £284,112 grant.
The Police Station has been empty since 2010 and was becoming increasingly run down.
The Foundation wanted to find out the views of the community before making any decisions, as the concern in the community was yet another important building being neglected. This later led the Eskdale Foundation to consider taking on the project.
A final consultation in 2017 confirmed that the most popular option was that of making four high quality affordable rented flats for local people.
