Walker injured on Scafell day after man dies in same location

A walker suffered injuries in a fall on Scafell just 24 hours after a man died in the same location.

Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team was called to Broadstand on Scafell yesterday afternoon where five teenagers had got into difficulty on the rock face.

One of them fell injuring his leg and four others had to be roped off the crag by rescuers.

The day before a man died on Broadstand following a fall.
