95-year-old woman killed in three-car crash

A 95-year-old woman has died after three cars collided in the Borders.

The crash happened on the A6089 Kelso to Gordon road at Bulletloan, just outside of Kelso.

A grey Seat Ibiza, a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a black Ford Fiesta were involved in the collision just before 9pm on Monday.

The elderly woman was taken to Borders General Hospital where she later died.

The road was closed for around seven hours while emergency services attended the scene.
