Funeral held for Cumbrian man killed after Brazil motorbike crash
Family and friends have gathered to attend the funeral of a Cumbrian man who died in Brazil after a motorbike crash.
Two JustGiving pages were set up by relatives to raise thousands of pounds to bring Christopher Peck home for specialist treatment, but he died before that could happen.
His funeral has taken place in his hometown, Workington, at St Mary's Church of England.
The 34-year-old was involved in a head-on crash with a drunk driver while on holiday.
Christopher suffered broken ribs and a fractured femur and was put into an induced coma.
His family claimed he had taken out the appropriate insurance policies, and that the insurance companies wouldn't pay for his treatment.
Christopher died before he could be brought back to the UK for life-saving care.
He passed away in hospital on Wednesday 2 May.
