Hawick Common Riding Committee cracks down on underage drinking
After reports of disruptive behaviour last year, Hawick Common Riding Committee say they have increased security at this year's event.
The committee have released a statement explaining changes to how their events will be marshalled.
Extra security will be used to steward proceedings and wristbands will be given upon entry to the Moor.
The committee are also cracking down on those on horseback who may be unfit to ride.
This year's Hawick Common Riding will take place on Thursday 7, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June.
