Man and woman found dead in the Borders on Boxing Day

Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman found at a property in the Scottish Borders on Boxing Day.

The woman, in her 40s, and the man, in his 50s, were discovered at a property on Ladyrig View in the Heiton area of Kelso at around 3pm yesterday.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
