THURSDAY NIGHT:
Snow showers will continue for the first half of the night, perhaps a longer period of snow for a time before clearing south. The Borders should stay dry. Ice risk with a widespread frost and lows -2°C.
FRIDAY:
Mainly dry and quite sunny for the bulk of the region, but some snow showers continuing in the far west. Cold and breezy. Highs at best 4°C but feeling sub zero.
WEEKEND:
Mainly dry, cold and bright on Saturday, a few snow showers in the far west. Cold on Sunday with the chance of some rain turning to snow.
