Police name 21-year-old woman killed in collision on the A7

A 21-year-old woman who died in a collision on the A7 has been named by police as Hayley Logan from Stow.

The crash happened at around 3.30am on Saturday 25 November on the A7 at the Torwoodlee Golf Course, near Galashiels.

The woman was driving a Peugeot 107 car, which left the road causing her to sustain serious injuries.

She was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where she later passed away.

Road Policing Officers closed the road for around 10 hours while they investigated at the scene and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The Lothian and Scottish Borders Road Policing Unit said:
