62-year-old diver dies after being rescued off the Scottish coast
A 62-year-old diver has died after getting into difficulty off the coast of the Borders.
Police and other emergency services were called to the incident at around 11.30am on Saturday 25 November.
Three lifeboats, including both vessels from Eyemouth, were sent to St Abbs Head where the diver had been separated from their party and was in distress.
The diver was airlifted to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he later passed away.
Police say are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
