Flooding causes delays and road closures in Cumbria
A number or roads across Cumbria have been hit by flooding following the issue of a yellow wind and rain warning by the Met Office.

Rydal - A591A591 closed both ways, with slow traffic.
Coast Road - Aldingham A5087 Coast Road is closed both ways due to flooding near Riddings Lane. Traffic is slow and drivers are advised to approach with care.
High Street - WorkingtonHeavy traffic due to flooding on A596 High Street both ways around Ellerbeck Lane.
Dalston - B5299B5299 at Lingyclose Road is just passable. Traffic is coping well.
Church Street - MilnthorpeA6 Church Street is just passable because of flooding between B5282 Park Road / B6384 Main Street (Milnthorpe) and Pool Darkin Lane (Beetham). Traffic is coping well.
