Jobs boost for Dumfriesshire meat firm

Fifty new jobs are being created at a meat processing firm in Dumfries and Galloway.

Brown Brothers, in Kelloholm, has received funding totalling more than £800,000 from the Scottish Government and the EU.

The money will be used to build an extension to its plant in Dumfriesshire, and as well as creating new work, it will safeguard more than 500 current jobs.
