Cumbria mums rally for school funding outside Parliament
Parents and children from Cumbria are rallying outside Parliament to call on the Chancellor to give more funding to local schools.
Two women from Penrith, of the Penrith and Carlisle Parents Against School Cuts group, are joining the protest in London with their six children.
Helen Jackman and Alex Heape set off on their 600-mile trip on Monday 23 October.
Helen Jackman is set to address the crowd at Westminster and will be lobbying Penrith & The Border MP Rory Stewart.
The protest has been organised by education unions and campaigners and will take place from 10.30am to 1pm today.
