Storm Brian heads towards the region

A yellow weather warning for wind has been issued across Cumbria, ahead of the arrival of Storm Brian tomorrow.

The warning will be in force from 4.00am until midnight, with 60mph to 70mph winds expected in coastal areas.

The Met Office says disruption is likely, with delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport.

Short term loss of power and other services is also possible as well as damage to trees.
