Hare coursing reported in the Borders
Police in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information following numerous reports of hare coursing in Berwickshire over the weekend.
Officers received calls to the incident between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday 30 September.
Two men are reported to have been hunting hares with dogs at Middlestots Farm, Duns, and later in Eccles Newtown Farm, Clodstream.
They are said to have been using a dark coloured Subaru car.
Wildlife Crime Officer for the Lothians and Scottish Borders said:
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident numbers 1742, 1986 and 1998 of 30 September.
