Stokes banned from England cricket team until further notice

Ben Stokes and Alex Hales will not be considered for selection for England matches until further notice, the England and Wales Cricket Board has announced.

Cumbrian cricket star Stokes was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and released without charge on Monday, but remains under investigation.

A video that allegedly shows him throwing punches in a street fight was published yesterday by The Sun newspaper.
