Dumfries' biggest leisure centre is scheduled to re-open.

DG One cost millions of pounds to build and has been closed since 2014 due to safety concerns.

Dumfries and Galloway Council has voted to progress with refurbishment of the Leisure Complex.

Their aims is to bring back a facility that can be used by people of all ages from across the region.

It is hoped the centre will be ready for re-opening in 2019.
