Whitehaven RLFC are through to the League One play-off final after winning one of the longest games of Rugby League ever played, with a drop goal in the 105th minute.

They were deadlocked at 20-20 with York City Knights at the end of normal time and 10 minutes each way of extra time couldn't separate the teams.

Steve Roper scored the golden point after an additional five minutes to set up an all Cumbrian final against Barrow Raiders at Craven Park next Sunday:

Barrow won their semi-final at a canter beating Newcastle Thunder 62-0.
