'Outlander effect' helps bring record number of tourists to Scotland
Scotland is welcoming a record number of visitors from all across the world this summer.
Official figures aren't available for this summer's season, but VisitScotland say that the country's top attractions are reporting a big increase in tourists.
These include Edinburgh and Stirling Castles, National Museum of Scotland and the Scotch Whisky Experience.
Tourism experts are putting one of the reasons down to the 'Outlander effect'.
This is attracting American fans to see the landscapes featured in the US TV series, Outlander.
