North Cumbria music festival to take place in September
Silloth Music and Beer Festival in North Cumbria is set to take place on Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 September this year.
Over the past fifteen years thousands of people have attended the festival, which offers over seventy-five real ales and ciders.
Thursday will see Bruce Springsteen Band tribute, The Boss UK, set the stage. Friday will have a double headline with Green Day tribute of Green Haze followed, by the five-piece Absolute Bowie. Bon Giovi, a Bon Jovi tribute act, will play on Saturday alongside The Clone Roses.
Local Cumbrian talent will include the likes of Workington’s AWOL, Seaton-based band Regulation 21, acoustic folk singers John & Wayne and Cumbria indie-rockers The Buyers Club.
The Silloth Music and Beer Festival is non-commercial event, with any profits put back into other events in Silloth throughout the year.
