Learning Disability Week open day for Annan centre

The Annan Activity and Resource centre has held an open day to show to the public what they do, during Learning Disability Week.

This centre in Annan is for people with a range of disabilities, but the whole idea is to build on their abilities.

From cooking and artwork to gardening and singing, each workshop is about learning whilst having fun.

Many of the staff have been working here for decades, and they enjoy it just as much as the people they're helping.

The open day was a celebration of Learning Disability week, and it was clear to see why there's a waiting list to join here.
