Inquest into Cumbrian toddler's death postponed for second time
An inquest into the death of a Cumbrian toddler has been postponed - for a second time.
Thirteen-month-old Poppi Worthington was found with serious injuries at her home in Barrow in December 2012.
A second inquest was ordered after a hearing in 2014 determined Poppi's death was "unascertained".
It was due to be held in Kendal from 15 May but has now been rescheduled for October while her father seeks legal aid.
A family court judge previously ruled the toddler's father, Paul Worthington, probably sexually assaulted Poppi before she died.
However, Mr Worthington denies any wrongdoing and nobody has been charged in connection with her death.
