Earthquake hits Cumbria
An earthquake measuring 1.7 on the Richter scale has been recorded in Cumbria.
It struck just north of Mealsgate near Aspatria shortly after 10:30am this morning.
The British Geological Survey said it wouldn't have been felt by people in the area as earthquakes have to reach a magnitude of 2.5 before they are noticeable.
It's the fourth earthquake to hit Cumbria this year.
