Emergency services praised for response to Maryport fire

The emergency services have been praised for their response to a major fire in Maryport, which destroyed an artificial turf factory.

The fire at SIS Pitches warehouse on Glasson Industrial estate started yesterday afternoon.

No individuals were injured in the blaze and there are ongoing police investigations into the cause of the fire.
