Safety fears in D&G village over speeding timber lorries

Residents in a village in south-west Scotland say large lorries carrying timber are speeding through their village.

People living in the Haugh of Urr have met with representatives from a local saw mill and with lorry drivers to express their concerns face to face.

The village has a primary school and locals say there have been several near misses.
