Police in Cumbria and the south of Scotland are warning bikers to be careful as they dust down their leathers for the Spring season.

Motorcyclists make up just one per cent of road users, but they account for around 20% of road deaths.

Statistics show you're 38 times more likely to be involved in an accident if you're on a motorbike than in a car.

The warmer weather attracts hundreds of motorcyclists to try out the open roads of our region but many of them, won't have been on their bike since last Autumn.
