Motorcyclist's family 'miss him with all our hearts'

The family of a motorcyclist killed in a collision at Great Orton have paid tribute to him.

Jeff Matthews, 28, of Jackson Road, Houghton, died at the scene of a crash involving his Suzuki GSXR motorbike and a white Nissan Duke on Sunday 26 March.

The car was left on its side, and firefighters cut the male and female occupants free.

Both were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Mr Matthews's family have released the following statement in tribute to him.
