Police find man's body in River Nith
Police have found a man's body in the River Nith in Dumfries.
They were called at around 9:30am this morning (11 February) to reports that a body had been spotted near Kingholm Quay.
The police worked together with Nith Inshore Rescue Team to recover the man's body, and take it to the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
No further details have been released, and the body has not been identified.
