Copeland's Labour MP Jamie Reed is resigning from Parliament to take up a position at the Sellafield nuclear site.

He Tweeted his letter of resignation to party leader Jeremy Corbyn this afternoon.

In the letter he confirmed he'll be quitting the House of Commons after 12 years at the end of January to become Sellafield Ltd's new head of development and community relations.
