An outdoor landscape artwork in the south of Scotland has been shortlisted for a national award.

The Crawick Multiverse near Sanquhar is in the running for a Business Creativity Award at the Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2017.

Funded by the Duke of Buccleuch and designed by renowned landscape artist Charles Jencks, the Multiverse artland, visitor attraction and events venue is built on the site of a former open cast coal mine.

The winners of the award will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow in March.
