A ward at the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary remains shut following a winter vomiting bug outbreak.

NHS Dumfries and Galloway say although there have been no new cases of the norovirus since Friday, ward 14 is still closed to admissions, transfers and routine visiting to help prevent the infection spreading.

Annan Hospital, which has been entirely closed since last week though is expected to re-open today following a deep clean.
