Poppy Appeal launches in Cumbria
This year's Cumbria Poppy Appeal launches in Carlisle today, with a vintage bus tour of the county.
The bus will leave Carlisle Castle at 10am, and will make its way to Penrith, where it will meet another vintage bus which has travelled up from Barrow.
It's a celebration of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal, which runs officially from this Saturday 29 October to 12 November.
The aim is to raise money for the charity, which supports service men and women, as well as veterans and their families, and also to remember the sacrifices made by soldiers.

Remembrance Sunday County Service of Remembrance - 2:30pm, 13 November, service at the County Memorial in Rickerby Park, Carlisle
