Carlisle United have equalled their all-time club record of 13 unbeaten games at the start of the season.

Keith Curle's men were made to work for their win at home to Hartlepool on Saturday, with the visitors pushing them all the way to the 95th minute.

Despite being reduced to 10 men after a Shaun Miller red card, the Blues managed to take the win with a 3-2 scoreline.

Manager Curle said the team had earned their glorious run of victories, due to their hard work on and off the pitch:

The 7,333 fans who'd turned out to watch the match were in for a treat with an action packed 95 minutes.

Curle praised the 'phenomenal' performance and said he wants people to come back and give the same support at every game.

It was clear the fans felt their ticket money had been well spent.

It wasn't just the fans who were enjoying the electric atmosphere bouncing round the stadium, as the players praised the fans after the game.

The Blues will now be confident heading into their next game against Stevenage, where they could become history makers.
