31-year-old Greig Laidlaw from Jedburgh, will leave Gloucester Rugby at the end of the season to join French team Clermont Auvergne.
The Scotland captain, who has won 51 Scotland caps, has agreed a three-year contract with the French giants as his current contract finishes at the end of the 2016/17 season.
