Muslim group return to help Cumbria flood victims
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association returned to Cumbria this weekend, to raise money for victims of December's floods.
Many of the group, who come from all around the UK, helped to clear homes and streets in December, after Storm Desmond swept through the county.
This weekend they are taking part in a charity bike ride: they set off from the Sandylands Methodist Church in Kendal this morning, waved off by local MP Tim Farron, and will pass through Keswick and Appleby.
Money raised by the trip will go to the Cumbria Community Foundation, which recently reported that one in five families left homeless by the floods are still living in temporary accommodation.
