Teams combat flooding in Bootle and Millom

A multi-agency coordination group has been set up, as partner agencies tackle flooding in Bootle and Millom.

The heavy and persistent rainfall this morning has meant a small number of properties in Bootle have been evacuated.

Nearby roads have also been affected with closures on the A595 between Bootle and Ravenglass, the A595 at Corney Fell and Duddon Bridge at Millom.
