Gravel removal continues on River Kent

Work to remove gravel from the River Kent in Kendal around Miller Bridge is continuing.

The Environment Agency is clearing the river bed around Miller Bridge as part of a flood protection scheme. The aim is to help prevent future flooding.

Work is set to last around four weeks.
