Sun comes out for Kelso Civic Week's Yetholm ride out
The sun made an appearance today on the biggest day of Kelso civic week as 256 horses followed the town's laddie on the Yetholm ride out.
Ian Whellans was this year's principal as he made the historic cross over the border and carried the Burgh flag.
The lengthy ride is the culmination of the Kelso civic week celebrations.
It's the 14th time Ian Whellans has ridden this particular route but today's ride is just that bit more special.
Kelso Civic week dates back to the 1930s and has seen hundreds of riders turn out on the Saturday every year.
The Laddie fulfils many important roles including laying a wreath at Yetholm's war memorial.
