Bright with scattered showers this evening, occasionally heavy. Becoming drier and clearer overnight for a time, before more showers return to Dumfries and Galloway and Cumbria by morning. Chilly lows of 7°C.

SATURDAY:

A sunny dry start in Berwickshire, otherwise sunny intervals and showers, some of these heavy with the chance of hail and thunder. A cool and rather windy day, particularly gusty where showers occur. Highs 17°C.

SUNDAY:

A drier day overall with sunny spells and well scattered showers. Feeling a little warmer with winds lighter.
