Border Weather - Rest of the weekend
A dry day on Saturday with increasing amounts of sunshine and decent temperatures.
Unfortunately it's pretty short lived as rain arrives from the west on Sunday, accompanied by stronger winds - noticeably so after over a week of light winds.
Temperatures will improve as we head into next week but a breezy start with sunshine and showers.
Here's your BORDER forecast for the next few days.......
SATURDAY:
A dry day with sunny spells developing. Winds will be light and it will feel warmer than it has of late. Highs 18°C.
OVERNIGHT:
A bright evening before a mainly dry night with clear spells. Becoming quite cool overnight in The Borders with light winds. Cloud and drizzle in the far west by dawn. Lows 7°C.
SUNDAY:
A bright start in the east but otherwise it will be a cloudy. Light rain at first across Dumfries & Galloway and Cumbria, before heavier rain and stronger winds spread eastwards for the afternoon and evening. Remaining warm at 18°C.
OUTLOOK:
Overnight rain will clear to leave a mix of bright and breezy spells with scattered showers for Monday and Tuesday. Feeling quite warm, especially in the east. Winds ease by midweek.
