Pictures: Bowhill House unveils its 'Smoking Room'
A Victorian smoking room, at one of the Scottish Borders grandest stately homes, is to open to the public for the first time in nearly 140 years.
Once regarded as the gentleman's inner sanctum, smoking rooms were fashionable in the 19th century.
And the room at Bowhill House in Selkirk, holds special memories for the Duke of Buccleuch whose family have lived there for more than 250 years:
