War medals and gold watches stolen in 'targeted' break-in

War medals, gold watches and antiques worth thousands of pounds have been stolen in a targeted housebreaking.

A man wearing a balaclava and an accomplice broke into a farmhouse on the B794 road near to Corsock, Castle Douglas, between 11.30pm on Thursday June 2 and 1am on Friday June 3.
