Oliver Mundell has become the first South of Scotland MSP to publicly back a Leave vote in the EU referendum.

That's despite his father - Secretary of State for Scotland David Mundell - being one of the most prominent Remain campaigners north of the border.

Three weeks ago the family were celebrating Oliver's success in the Scottish Parliamentary Elections.

But speaking exclusively to ITV Border about their opposing views, Oliver Mundell said:

David Mundell told ITV Border he respects his son's decision, but disagrees with it.

The Scottish Parliament voted 106 to eight, with three abstentions, for the UK to remain in the EU.
