Crowds welcome the Flying Scotsman to Tweedbank station
The Flying Scotsman returned to Scotland for the first time in 60 years this weekend and a crowd of thousands welcomed the locomotive into Tweedbank station.
The journey wasn't smooth though, as the arrival of the world's most famous train was initially cancelled on Friday night after a failure to carry out technical checks.
But the outcry of disappointment from rail enthusiasts meant that last minute checks were completed and the locomotive was back on the rails and back on time.
