Appeal to find Helvellyn rescuers who tried to save man
The family of a man who died on Helvellyn last year are trying to make contact with people who attempted to save him.
At about 10:30am on 25 October an urgent call was made to police and Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team to help a 52-year-old man from Yorkshire who was suffering from chest pains.
While the team raced to reach him on Swirral Edge, other walkers who were passing by administered CPR to help the man.
However, he died at 11:50am from a suspected cardiac arrest.
In a Facebook post, the Mountain Rescue team say the man's family want to contact the people who stopped to help him, in order to thank them.
