Helpful door-knockers offer advice to flood stricken homes

Dozens of volunteers are out on the streets of Kendal today offeringsupport to flood victims.

Teams are knocking on doors at houses in the Mintsfeet and Far CrossAreas to give help and practical advice on various aspects of floodrecovery.

The initiative has been organised by Sandylands Church along with South Lakeland Community Flood Recovery Group.
