Kids rally round Davis Cup in Galashiels

Children of all ages have turned out to catch a glimpse of the Davis Cup as it visits the Borders.

The most iconic trophy in tennis is in Galashiels as part of a national tour.

As well as having the photo taken with the trophy, children are being given tennis tuition and taking part in competitions.

The Tennis Scotland event is aimed at encouraging more young players into the game, and they're hoping the Davis Cup will inspire more people to pick up a racket.
