New regulations for salmon fishing in south of Scotland
New legislation has come into force in Scotland which affects the way rivers and seas are fished for salmon.
For anglers there will be a strict catch-and-release policy, which will be reviewed after one year.
In the estuaries, there's a complete ban for three years. It's meant to control salmon stocks, but some say it could destroy their livelihoods. Lori Carnochan reports:
