O'Neill enters Carlisle runners ahead of Cheltenham Festival
Top horse trainer and former champion jockey Jonjo O'Neill is expected to return to Carlisle Racecourse next week ahead Cheltenham Festival.
O'Neill, who was based in Cumbria for more than 21 years before moving to Gloucestershire in 2001, has entered horses in the last seven races at Carlisle on March 10.
Powerful Symbol is among the entries in the Intermediate Open National Hunt Flat race at 5:25pm on Thursday.
O'Neill has won the Cheltenham Gold Cup both as a jockey and a trainer and the Irishman will have a string of horses competing in the famous four-day festival which runs from March 15 - 18.
